Acceptable Use Policy
Discovery · Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy applies to everyone who uses Discovery: customers, providers, drivers and couriers. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Do not use Discovery to
- break the law, including laws on fraud, money laundering, consumer protection and data protection;
- harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone, including providers, drivers, couriers and our staff;
- place orders or bookings you do not intend to pay for or accept, or abuse refunds, promotions or referral credit;
- use another person's account, card, mobile money wallet or identity, or let someone else use yours;
- move money through the wallet for anything other than genuine use of Discovery, or use it to disguise where money came from;
- contact a customer, driver or courier outside an active order using details you got through Discovery, or keep their phone number or location for any other purpose;
- list, sell or deliver anything illegal, counterfeit, stolen, dangerous or that you do not have the right to sell;
- post reviews that are fake, paid for, or about an experience you did not have;
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else's rights;
- scrape, copy, reverse-engineer or overload the platform, or try to get around its security, limits or fees;
- probe or attack our systems. If you find a vulnerability, report it to security@ghdiscovery.com instead, and do not access or change data that is not yours.
Safety during trips and deliveries
- Treat drivers, couriers, hosts and guides with respect, and expect the same from them.
- Drivers and couriers must follow the law of the road and must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while working.
- Use the in-app chat and call features while an order is active. Report anything that makes you feel unsafe in the app or to support@ghdiscovery.com. In an emergency, call the police (191 or 112) first.
What we do about breaches
Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, cancel an order, hold a wallet transaction while we investigate, suspend or close your account, and report the matter to the authorities. We will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it. You can ask us to review a decision by emailing support@ghdiscovery.com.
Reporting a problem
- Abuse, unsafe behaviour or a suspicious listing: report it in the app, or email support@ghdiscovery.com.
- Payment fraud or a wallet you did not authorise: payments@ghdiscovery.com.
- Security vulnerabilities: security@ghdiscovery.com.
